Original Music Brief:

• Catchy, high-tempo, danceable, pop song;

• Anthemic, fun and nostalgic;

• Lizzo’s “About Damn Time” is a good reference for vibes;

Our bespoke track so far:

• BPM 110 (similar to all 3 reference tracks, which range from 105 to a 109);

• Very similar instrumentation to the reference tracks (which mostly all favour drums, bass and guitars);

• Nearly all of the original lyrics were kept untouched (we didn’t need to change much to make it singable!!);

• No time to fit in “Bridge Two” (check lyrics below)

• Very catchy and anthemic chorus (this is a BIG win!);

• Currently features a male falsetto vocal only for approval of melody and structure (it will be changed to a female vocal);

• Not mixed, not fully produced and there’s still other secondary instruments that will be added (like strings and keyboards);

• All of the tones, timbres and textures will be polished to sound much more like a modern pop song (this process takes quite a long time and comes in at the very end);
